Margin Upgrade
Q: I submitted a Margin Upgrade application. Why hasn't it been approved after several days?
A1: Positions/Orders: You may have pending orders or open positions (the most common reason), unsettled positions, or frozen assets. System reviews are conducted every Wednesday and Sunday; please do not trade until the review is complete.
A2: Fund Status: You may have existing funds or securities frozen due to legal or other reasons.
A3: Account Status: Your account status may be abnormal, or your account is already a margin account, or your account does not exist.
Margin Downgrade
Q: I submitted a Margin Downgrade application. Why hasn't it been processed yet?
A1: Positions/Orders: You may have pending orders or open positions (the most common reason). Downgrades are restricted if you hold short positions, options positions, negative balances, or unsettled/frozen positions. System reviews are conducted every Wednesday and Sunday; please do not trade until the review is complete.
A:2 Short Sub-records: You may have sub-records of existing short positions, which prevents downgrading.
A3: Fund Status: You may have existing funds or securities frozen due to legal or other reasons. Or you may have existing liabilities in your account.
A4: Account Status: Your account status may be abnormal, or your account is already a cash account, or your account does not exist.
